  • Performances: 1,066
  • Open / Close: June 14, 2011 – January 4, 2014
  • Theater: Lyric Theatre (formerly known as the Foxwoods Theatre).
  • Tony Awards: Nominated for costume and scenic design but did not win bupkis.
  • Fun Fact: There are many superlatives associated with this show, the most famous being that it is the most expensive production ever mounted on Broadway with a capitalization of $75 million. A lesser known one is that it set the record for the longest preview period in Broadway history, with 182 preview performances. The production actually shut down completely for a month during previews to retool.
